Explanation of the Pomodoro Technique

The Pomodoro Technique is a time-management method that was established in the 1980s by Francesco Cirillo. And the main goal when using this type of technique is to stay focused on your writing. That is why this method has been divided into a step by step strategy.

Before you start to write, you need to make a list of all the things that you need to do.

Now, group all of those tasks into groups, for which you will need around 25 minutes to finish.

Set your timer for 25 minutes.

Keep writing those 25 minutes or until the timer goes off.

If you have managed to complete that task in those 25 minutes, mark it as completed. And if you haven’t finished it, then adjust your previous plan.

After every 25 minutes of writing, take a break of five minutes and do something that will relax you.

However, after you have four of these sessions, it is time to make a longer break, for about 30 minutes.
